Time for a little trip in time? It all started in the 1950s. In Rheine, KTR's headquarters, BoWex® was developed, the first maintenance-free arc-tooth coupling, which combines steel and plastic. Shortly thereafter, the ROTEX® followed, the first brand coupling to be elevated to a DIN standard. These successes give wings. And a company can build on that - and that is exactly what KTR does.

Which brings us back to the present tense. In addition to numerous standard products, KTR today realizes more than 20,000 new developments and variants every year at the request of customers. In order to maintain this level, KTR is always on the move: with the new R&D center in Rheine and the new competence center for brakes in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock, the points have been set in the direction of a distinctive future. 

And that trail leads around the world. Today, 23 subsidiaries and 90 representations worldwide ensure that everything runs smoothly for KTR customers in the field of movement.
